" Han - made Satellite" Settled in Xinzhou 50 Billion Project Signing Wuhan National Space Industry Base

 As China's first national commercial space industry base, Wuhan National Space Industry Base signed more than 50 billion yuan in total at this forum, including 16 industrial projects and more than 30 billion yuan.  A number of heavyweight industrial projects, such as space engineering of the Second Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology, low-orbit navigation satellite enhancement system at fire eye position, Yu Long's commercial rocket research and development and production base, have been contracted to settle in the base.

 At this forum, 22 projects with a total investment of 50.6 billion yuan were contracted to enter Wuhan National Space Industry Base.  Among them, the most important thing is the space engineering project of the 2nd Academy of Science, Technology and Industry for Aerospace, which has an area of 200 mu and a construction area of nearly 70,000 square meters. It will build a load and subsystem assembly test plant, a satellite AIT plant, a microsatellite manufacturing plant and a propulsion system equipment test plant at the base. The main products are Hongyun Project, fast response small satellites and microsatellites, and new space transportation vehicles, etc. By then, the " Chinese - made satellites" will soar.

 Commercial space, Wuhan striding forward.  As one of China's top five commercial aerospace projects, Hongyun Project is a space-based information network with global service capability based on low-orbit constellations interconnected between satellites. The system is based on Internet access and provides users with comprehensive services of communication, navigation enhancement and remote sensing information.  The whole Hongyun project is scheduled to be deployed and run on the 14th five-year plan, by which time it will be able to provide Internet / Internet of Things on-demand access services to users around the world, realize global coverage without discrimination, and use WiFi like at home in high-speed rail and airplane environments.

 As China's first national commercial space industry base, Wuhan National Space Industry Base was jointly planned by Wuhan Municipal People's Government and China Aerospace Science and Industry Group, jointly built by Xinzhou District People's Government and Huaxia Happiness Foundation Co., Ltd., and officially approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in August 2016, positioning it as a first-class and internationally famous space industry new city in China.
